Summer update

It's been a while again since I've updated, the summer has gone by way too fast! Anyways, all is good here, Jack is getting taller and a lot more stubborn, he now will not sleep without his airplane, a flashlight and his Thomas blanket lol. He's still very picky about food and will only eat about 7 or 8 foods, and the most popular right now is yogurt, he absolutely will not try anything new. The potty training is not going as planned, he will sit a few times a day and sometimes will go when he's on the potty, but for the most part he gives me a hard time about sitting there more frequently.

The little person arriving in January we found out is a boy! I've had two ultrasounds, one in August for anatomy scan and they didn't get all measurements so I had to go for another three weeks later, and all looks good. I have to go for another at 32 weeks to check growth.

18 weeks

21 weeks

And here I am 22 weeks :)

Ramzi's theory and placenta placement

I've been reading up on the theory, and I guess if you get an early ultrasound and the placenta is on the right it indicates possible boy and on left a girl, so I found this website ingender.com where you can post your u/s pics and there are a few there really good at reading & guessing the gender from the u/s pic. I posted mine and was guessed a boy, and I also got a great gender reading from a really good reader on there. Here is the reading I got :)

tannilisa, I am picking up a BOY for you!!! These babies are hard to see today for some reason....like there are going to be a bunch of surprise pregnancies or something! He seems to be writing in a journal or book...so he will obviously be very creative and like writing...maybe the next Stephen King??? NICE! He is into entertainment and production, so he simply has acting, writing, movies in his blood...nurture it,because he can go far! God Bless

It's a pretty interesting site! I can't wait to go for my anatomy scan to find out what it is, I'm so impatient.

Jack has been a little terror the past few days, I caught him squirting his sippy cup spout all over the floor and on my sandals, then he had snack from one end of the living room to the other. He also thinks it's great fun to stand up on the couch, jump up and land on his butt (he does this in his crib too) so he's been in time out a lot lately lol.

It just sunk in..

that I'm gonna be a mother of two. I had my 12 week ultrasound yesterday and as I was looking at the ultrasound pics with hubby, I found myself finally realizing that there really is a baby in there, and yes I'll have two kids in like 6 months! It kind of blew my mind lol. But the ultrasound went great, all looked good and the nuchal fold was 1.66 which is normal, the LO was bouncing and rocking its head and legs like listening to music, it was pretty cute, the tech got a kick out of it. I went for bloodwork after so I'll get those results probably next week. I now can't wait until my next u/s!

Other than that, all has been quiet around here, we're thinking about getting Jack his "big boy" bed soon and getting him used to that, and also have to work on the potty training thing too. He was doing ok for a while then he sort of lost interest, but I'm gonna get him re aquatinted with his potty and hope for the best. It seems like I have so much changes coming up and so little time to get Jack ready for all these big kid things. Ohwell, I'll do the best I can with it and hope that Jack adjusts easy to the bed, he loves his crib.

I suppose that about it for now, here are some u/s pics:

I found the heartbeat!

I got a Sonoline Doppler a few weeks back and decided today to try it, even though I'm 7 weeks and 6 days and after a few minutes I found it!! I couldn't believe it! I recorded it to show hubby in case I couldn't find it again later this evening

It's about time...

Well, I've neglected my blog long enough and figured it's time for an update, especially since I have news to share!

First, Jack is doing very good he seems to be getting taller by the day but still my little peanut! His eating habits are a bit frustrating though and he's going through a picky stage or refusing to eat anything, some days are worse than others. He's talking a bit more but still not sentences yet, just words and maybe two words put together once in awhile.

As for me,well I finally got what I was patiently waiting for...

I'm so stinking excited!! But am still cautious until the 12 week mark. My first appointment is next Tuesday and won't get an ultrasound probably until 12 weeks and it seems like so far way.
So, that's really all that's been happening around here! I'll be better and have more updates soon!

Oh I can't forget a Jack pic!

And a video...

It's been a long time...

It's been a long time since my last post, I'm not sure where to start for an update, but basically Jack is doing really awesome and is talking more and more, he jibber jabbers all day and sings "twinkle twinkle little star" lol. He's getting really tall and is definitely gaining weight, he's gotten heavy that's for sure!

As for me, well it's been months TTC and I'm hoping this is my month, but I'm not holding my breath. It seems like this time TTC is taking so much longer than it did with Jack. Maybe it's because I'm older.

We got Jack's pictures done a few weeks ago and he would not smile lol, the lady doing them was a little weird really so he just looked at her like "what are you doing?" We did manage a few halfway smiles and they did come out really cute anyways!

Well, I will try to update again soon, I just get so busy and forget to a lot of times. Here are some of Jack's pics:

Just another update..

Just wanted to shoot out a quick update since I haven't done one in a few. Nothing too much going on, we're still trying for baby #2, last month we had a positive but it was quickly followed by a negative so another chemical pregnancy. But, I've had blood work done on my thyroid and all is normal, so we tried again this month and I hope things stick around for once!

Jack is awesome and is growing like a weed, he's always hungry lately and is definitely getting taller. He's really starting to look like a little boy and not a baby anymore. His vocabulary is picking up too and he says all kinds of words, oh and I trained him to rub my back while I sit on the floor lol it's too cute!

Hope to have some good news soon to post about getting pg. I will update when I can :)
